Brief Intro

Richard D'Amato, CRNP is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, with a focus on Student Mental Health and Adult Psychiatry, including ADHD, Anxiety, Depression and Bipolar disorder. Experiences include serving as an Instructor at The University of Pennsylvania and Saint Joseph's University. He is licensed in PA, NJ, DE and FL and has an additional interest in Autism Spectrum Disorders.


Mr. D’Amato provides medication management for Anxiety disorders (such as Generalized Anxiety, Panic Disorder, PTSD and Social Phobia), Mood Disorders (such as Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Affective Disorder (BPAD Types 1 and 2), Pre-Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), Postpartum Depression, Cyclothymia and Persistent Depressive Disorder, and Attention Deficit Disorders (such as Adult ADHD). 


He has a special interest in treating College & Graduate Students, and adults with autistic spectrum disorders. He is board certified to prescribe psychiatric medications.


Mr. D'Amato offers in-office and virtual Telehealth Psychiatric appointments. He is licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Florida as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
