After her General Surgery training at Cornell University Teaching Hospital, she completed her Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at the University of Illinois Hospital at Chicago. She refined her training with a fellowship in Aesthetic/Cosmetic surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat hospital. There, she enjoyed working with world renowned plastic surgeons that included Thomas D. Rees, M.D., Sherrel Aston, M.D., Daniel Baker, M.D., Nick Tabbal, M.D. and Michael Hogan, M.D. She further developed her specialized skills with a second fellowship in Cosmetic surgery in Miami under the direction of Thomas J. Baker, M.D., Howard L. Gordon, M.D. and James M. Stuzin, M.D. Dr. Hernandez specializes in aesthetic/cosmetic facial rejuvenation for women and men, and has dedicated her practice to providing her patients with the latest state-of-the-art surgical techniques and highest quality of medical care.
