He obtained his medical degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and completed his General Surgery training at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Liebler then completed his specialized training in Thoracic Surgery, Thoracoscopic and Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery from George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C..
