Dr. Karnik earned her medical degree from the University of Bombay, Seth G.S. Medical School in Bombay, India. She completed her internship at Tulane University Health Sciences Center, New Orleans and her residency at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD and Ochsner. She is board certified in anesthesiology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2000.
