I received degrees in Biochemistry (with distinction), Chemistry, and South Asian Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. I received my medical degree (MD) from Albany Medical College and then completed an Internship in Internal Medicine and a Residency in Ophthalmology (Eye Surgery) there as well. I completed the Lancaster Course in Ophthalmology through Harvard Medical College's Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary at Colby College. I have enjoyed practicing in Troy and Slingerlands for the past eighteen years.
