Thank you for taking the time to visit my Web page. I am honored to have the chance to introduce myself and tell you about my practice at Kaiser Permanente and myself as a person. As a cardiologist at the Panorama City Medical Center, I look forward to working with you to put you at ease and get your heart healthy and strong.
Biography
I came to the U.S. after graduating from medical school in 1988. Los Angeles was the first city I visited when I joined my brother, who was finishing his own medical degree. I loved the weather and people here and decided to make L.A. my home after I finished my training. I then did my residency and fellowship training in the cardiovascular specialty as well as a year as chief resident at the Case Western Reserve University program at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland. I decided to join Kaiser Permanente in 1998 because our organization allows me to provide quality, comprehensive health care to my patients.
About my practice
My practice spans from cardiovascular disease prevention to full disease management. It is a privilege for me to be able to work with you and your family in order to make changes to your lifestyle for healthy living and prevention of cardiovascular disease. Of utmost importance is that our cardiology team, including nurses and staff, work together as a team and are compassionate, capable professionals. I specialize in cardiac procedures such as transesophageal echocardiography and the implantation and maintenance of cardiac pacemaker devices and automatic implantable cardioverter defibrillators. One colleague of mine specializes in congenital heart disease, another in interventional cardiology, and our newest addition in electrophysiology. This makes us a unique team of cardiologists here in the Panorama City area.
How I thrive
As a cardiologist, I believe in and practice Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of preventive medicine and a healthy lifestyle, which includes fitness and healthy eating habits. That's why I try to enjoy healthy meals and exercise daily to cut down on stress. I always keep a good attitude toward my busy schedule and try to balance my work and family time. I enjoy outdoor sports with my children, such as soccer, bicycle riding, and swimming. With my wife I enjoy walking in the park and exercising at the gym.
