I was born in Los Angeles and raised in northern Orange County. I attended Servite High School, near the hospital where I now work. I received my undergraduate degree in history and later my medical doctor's degree at USC. I completed residency in neurological surgery at Syracuse University in New York and practiced neurosurgery for 11 years in Rochester, New York, where I was affiliated with the University of Rochester School of Medicine. I relocated back to Southern California when I joined the staff at our Lakeview Medical Offices. The impetus for the move was our close extended family in Southern California. For hobbies I enjoy sailing, skiing, hiking, and bicycling with my four sons.
