Michael Mikitka, DDS Specialist in Prosthodontics Dr. Michael Mikitka enjoys dentistry because it allows him to enhance his patient's general health and well-being by treating their gum problems. A prosthodontist, Dr. Mikitka graduated from the University of California Los Angeles Dental School in 1971 and then did graduate work at Boston University. After 20 years of serving as a dental specialist with the U.S. Air Force and Army, he retired in 1997 to go into private practice. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society.
