Dr. Plank graduated from Creighton University Summa Cum Laude. She then earned her medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and graduated with honors. She went on to complete her internship and residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. In residency she was presented the Strother award for top testing scores, the Joseph Warren award for excellence, leadership and balance and the research award for evaluation of very low weight infants. She has also won the American Professors of Obstetric and Gynecology award for training residents in OB/GYN. She is board certified in Obstetric and Gynecology and is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Dallas Medical Society. Dr. Plank has special interest in routine and high-risk obstetrics, abnormal pap smear evaluations, contraception, annual exams, abnormal uterine bleeding, menopause and gynecology surgery. She is skilled in performing in office procedures including endometrial ablations, hysteroscopy, sterilization procedures including the Essure device, colposcopy to evaluate abnormal pap smears and Leep/Cone biopsy for treatment of abnormal pap smears. Dr. Plank is married with 2 beautiful children. She loves to exercise and is an avid sports fan. She supports her Creighton Bluejays and Nebraska Cornhuskers.
