Brief Intro

Dr. Klancar was a licensed physical therapist for six years prior to earning her medical degree from the University of Colorado. After completing residency in Internal Medicine, she remained at the University of Colorado as faculty. Dr. Klancar obtained her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at both the University of Colorado and the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Klancar is active in Swedish Medical Center's Breast Cancer Program, Lung Cancer Program and Hepatobiliary Program. She also holds positions on Swedish Medical Center's Cancer Committee and Medical Staff Committee. Dr. Klancar has a strong interest in Integrative Care. She sits on the board of the Progressive Health Center and is a founding member of the Colorado Cancer Initiative. Both of these are nonprofit organizations whose goal is to provide complementary care along with traditional care to patients with cancer.
