John Edward Nees, M.D., F.A.C.S. is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also certified in the Contour Threads(r) procedure. Dr. Nees earned his medical doctorate from Cornell University Weill Medical College in 1974 after graduating from Cornell with distinction with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1970. His post-doctoral training included a surgical internship at University of Texas Health Science Center/Parkland Memorial Hospital, a general surgery residency at Harbor UCLA Medical Center and a plastic surgery residency at University of Miami Affiliated Hospital/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Nees is affiliated with South Beach Community Hospital in Miami Beach.
