Brief Intro

Dr. Light completed his Bachelor of Sciences degree at the University of California at Irvine and his D.D.S. degree at Loyola School of Dentistry in Chicago in 1981.  He completed a General Practice Residency at Wadsworth VA Hospital in Los Angeles and a Prosthodontic Residency Program at the San Francisco V.A. Hospital. Dr. Light is active in the U.S. Air Force Reserves at Travis Air Force Base for 25 years and currently holds the rank of Colonel.  He was Chief of Dental Services for the 349th Aerospace Medical Unit which is reponsible for the dental health for over 3,000 Air Force Reservists. Dr. Light has been in private practice in Sacramento for 25 years.  He belongs to the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Sacramento District Dental Association and many other national Prosthodontic and military health organizations.
