Dr. Carr's medical career began in 1976 at the University of Vermont Medical School. He then traveled to Salt Lake City for my surgical internship and completed his training at the sports rich University of Vermont Orthopedic Residency in 1985. He jump started his sports medicine orthopedic career as Head Physician for Marshall University in Huntington, W.V. He was named and served as the Head Physician of the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Canada as well as Head Physician at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. He is board certified and was one of the very early and original members of The American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Carr has also been inducted into the Marshall Sports medicine Hall of Fame.
