DR DAN YOUNGREN DDS DENTIST I am a Dentist at KFD who is semi-retired. I practiced in Minnesota as a solo private practitioner for 31 years after graduating from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1977. All of those 31 years were spent in St. James, Minnesota enjoying dentistry, church, family, and friends. After selling my practice we moved to Custer, SD in 2008. I joined the staff at KFD in June of 2009 working part time. I am enjoying being able to use my skills working with the incredible staff and patients here. Having prided myself in truly caring about my patients during my practice life and concentrating on high quality esthetic oriented dentistry, I have found KFD to be the perfect place for me to spend the remainder of my time in dentistry. My wife, Barbara, and I have been married for 38 years. We have been blessed with three married children and three grandchildren. Being outdoors in Custer, hiking, and biking take up much of our time after family and church. I am an avid bowhunter and have more "camo" than formal clothes. I thank my Lord and Savior on a regular basis for the opportunity He has given me to be part of such a wonderful group of people here.
