Yasmeen attended Penn State University for her undergraduate degree and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where she obtained her Master's in Nursing, specializing in Women's Health Care. Yasmeen worked as a Registered Nurse in Labor and delivery for over 6 years at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania prior to attaining her Master's degree at Penn. After becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she transitioned to their outpatient OB/GYN clinic, the Helen O. Dicken's Center for 4 years. She then relocated to SW Virgina, with her husband and son, working at Women's Health Services of Central Virginia in Lynchburg for 7 years. She began her career with Carilion in 2018 where she continues to focus on providing care to women.
