Mr. Young was born and raised in Garland, Texas, where he graduated as valedictorian from Naaman Forest High School. He attended The University of Texas at Austin, from which he graduated with honors with a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering.After working for a few years, he pursued a Master of Medical Science in physician assistant studies at Emory University School of Medicine.Soon after graduation, he returned to Texas with his wife and three children.
