Brief Intro

Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I lost my mother when I was three to breast cancer which I think is one of the reasons that I have always been drawn to the health care field. It's amazing to have the opportunity to help people through their journey to wellness and I take very seriously the responsibility I have to the patients I care for.What I want my patients to know about me:What I value most about my career is the personal connections that I make. I feel that success in medicine isn't only living free from or successfully managing a disease state, but it is better defined by being able to be present for the moments that matter and having as many of those as we can. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I have three boys so my life is filled with karate, swimming, basketball, piano/trombone, soccer (wash, rinse, repeat)! My husband works in the horseracing industry and has for over 20 years. We have a border collie named Odin who protects our house with every inch of his being (much to our dismay at times) and a corgi named Zoey who may be the love of my life (much to my husband's dismay). I decorate for Halloween in July and start Christmas decorating the day after Halloween and I'm not ashamed of it at all!
