Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I have always had a strong desire to help people. I found that medicine not only challenges me, but also allows me to help give people the tools to live a better life. I have always been a runner, competing in both cross-country and track and field at the collegiate level and beyond. I have sought help from orthopedic providers throughout my training and I too desire to help all level of athletes and individuals get back on track to fulfill their passion. What I want my patients to know about me:I want patients to know that I care. I am dedicated to helping individuals reach their goals and return to their activities. I love to learn and continually strive to further my knowledge base and work with my colleagues in a team approach to provide patients with the best care possible. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:When I am not at work, I am spending time with my adopted dog, Sadie, and my family. I am newly an aunt to both a niece and nephew and have enjoyed watching them grow. I continue to run and am currently training for my second marathon in hopes to qualify for the Boston Marathon. I can also be found hiking, biking, reading, paddle boarding, or snowboarding!
