Dr. MOUZAM FAROQUI, MD is a BOARD CERTIFIED CARDIOLOGIST
Dr. Faroqui has been in practice since 2018. His current board certifications include Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, ASC National Board of Echocardiography, APCA Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and APCA Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He has authored or co-authored a number of peer-reviewed journal articles and presented in several national meetings. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, and Cardiovascular Research Foundation.
EDUCATION
Dr. Faroqui completed his internship, residency, and general cardiology training at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He then went on to train in structural, endovascular, and interventional cardiology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University/ Deborah Heart and Lung Center. He served as the Chief Fellow throughout his training including Internal medicine, Cardiovascular and Interventional Programs.
APPROACH TO MEDICINE
He is dedicated to bringing his patients state-of-the-art, modern, guideline directed medical and invasive therapy. He has a particular interest in preventive medicine. His expertise lies in management of complex coronary and endovascular interventions, valvular heart disease, and treatment of pulmonary embolism or deep venous thrombosis.
