Mark Pemberton, PA-C, is an experienced, certified physician assistant with AdventHealth Medical Group Neurosurgery at Shawnee Mission. He works closely with neurosurgeon Paul O'Boynick, MD. Prior to joining Dr. O'Boynick's practice in 2006, Mark spent 19 years working as a physician assistant in orthopaedic surgery, where his work included supervisory responsibilities in addition to assisting in surgery and providing direct patient care. He joined AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in 2017 when the Neurosurgery at Shawnee Mission practice was established. Mark earned his physician assistant degree from Wichita State University after earning a bachelor's degree from Pittsburg State University. He is a longtime member of the Kansas Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. When he is not in the office, Mark enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
