Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I desired a profession in which I could help others and I would be able to have a positive impact on my community.What I want my patients to know about me:I have been a nurse practitioner for over 20 years and reside in the community where I practice. I enjoy getting to know you as I provide you care and making a connection which will last an extended period of time. I believe in educating you about your diagnosis and making sure there is a plan of care in place when you leave the office. I encourage you to be actively involved in your care.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:In my free time I enjoy being outside - gardening, running, hiking and biking are my favorites. I am often busy attending my childrens track, soccer and volleyball games. We enjoy traveling whether it be internationally or within the United States.
