Brief Intro

My name is Laurel Edinburgh. I am a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. I practice pediatric, adolescent, and adult psychiatry, focusing on treating children, teens, and young adults. I specialize in managing ADHD, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse.

One of my areas of expertise is medication management. I listen carefully and respectfully to my clients, striving to understand their symptoms. I work in collaboration with my patients (and, if appropriate, with their parents) to find medications that support their functioning and recovery.

In addition, I provide psychotherapy for parents managing difficult child and teen behaviors that are disrupting the family and adversely affecting the child’s school functioning. I have experience in managing challenging situations such as truancy, school refusal, oppositional behaviors, running away, and sibling conflict.

I also enjoy working with transgender and gender-non-conforming teens and young adults.

I am currently seeing patients through telehealth.
