Dr. Elisa Diaz is a licensed psychologist and assistant professor. She is living out her dream of being an educator to future professionals, while also providing psychotherapy to her community. Her clinical interests are in health and chronic illnesses. Dr. Diaz is a proud ally to the LGBTQ community. She has had the privilege of presenting at multiple conferences for the South Florida Southeast AIDS Education and Training Center. She has served as an editorial contributor for the Miami Herald, highlighting the potential consequences of chronic stress and anxiety. Born and raised in Miami, FL, Dr. Diaz speaks Spanish and is learning to speak fluent French. She loves traveling and watching baseball.
