Drew A. Brady, M.D., is a 2000 graduate of Harvard Medical School, where he was the recipient of Sidney Burwell, George Berry and Harvard Club of Delaware scholarships. Following residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, he completed a fellowship at Case Western Reserve University's MetroHealth Medical Center in orthopaedic traumatology and has remained in that subspecialty with First State Orthopaedics since late 2006.
Maintaining professional licensure in Delaware, Pennsylvania and Ohio, Dr. Brady has held appointments with Christiana Care, St. Francis Hospital, the First State Surgery Center and Cleveland's MetroHealth Medical Center. He has fulfilled basic and advanced fracture studies and has served on faculty with the Orthopaedic Trauma Association's fracture curriculum. Dr. Brady has delivered presentations concerning subjects as diverse as distal humerus fractures, failed hip pins, osteoporosis, rheumatoid forefoot reconstruction, quadriceps tendon rupture and post-fusion hip arthroplasty.
