After receiving his undergraduate degree from Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts, Dr. Min attended medical school at the College of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. While there, he completed an internship in general surgery, followed by a residency in neurological surgery. During his residency, he focused on researching the pathophysiology of pain, as well as traumatic brain injuries related to the Oklahoma City Bombing.
Dr. Min also completed a fellowship in spinal surgery with the Indianapolis Neurosurgery Group in Indianapolis, Indiana. He maintains memberships in various medical organizations, including the American Medical Association and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Although Dr. Min focuses on general neurosurgery, his particular interests involve treating cancer of the spine as well as traumatic injury to the spine. He has worked as the Director for Complex Spinal Surgery for St. John Medical Center, where his expertise was utilized in dealing with these issues as well as treatment of infections of the spine.
