Brief Intro

Dr. Chang graduated from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at City College, New York. He earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry. Dr. Chang completed fellowships in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Bioengineering at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York and was a student fellow in cardiology at the University of Rochester. Dr. Chang was board certified in 1993 and recertified in 2004. He is a diplomate of both the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Chang is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons. Dr. Chang joined Somers Orthopaedics in 1991. He was an instructor in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Mayo Medical School and served as a Commissioned Medical Officer at the U.S. Public Health Services Indian Health Services in Billings Montana. He is the author of several articles and papers and is a member of the New York State Orthopaedic Society and the Westchester County Medical Society.
