Dr. Chang graduated from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at City College, New York. He earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry.
Dr. Chang completed fellowships in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Bioengineering at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York and was a student fellow in cardiology at the University of Rochester.
Dr. Chang was board certified in 1993 and recertified in 2004. He is a diplomate of both the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Chang is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons.
Dr. Chang joined Somers Orthopaedics in 1991. He was an instructor in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Mayo Medical School and served as a Commissioned Medical Officer at the U.S. Public Health Services Indian Health Services in Billings Montana. He is the author of several articles and papers and is a member of the New York State Orthopaedic Society and the Westchester County Medical Society.
