Dr. Burton received his medical degree from the University of Colorado in 1981. He has been practicing family and sports medicine at Table Mesa Family Medicine since 1986. He also sees patients at Boulder Center for Sports Medicine on Wednesday afternoons. Dr. Burton is certified by the American Board of Family Practice and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (the organizationÂ’s highest educational distinction award). He is also board-certified in sports medicine. A native of Georgia, Dr. Burton enjoys running, hiking, snorkeling, snowboarding and Shotokan Karate. He and his wife, Jenny, have two sons and a daughter.
