Brief Intro

Dr. Martin specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the face. He is an accomplished surgeon with years of experience in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Martin holds the position of Fellow in both the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Martin received his degree in medicine from East Tennessee State University College of Medicine in 1985. He subsequently completed a five-year surgical residency in head and neck surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. His formal training was completed in 1991 with a comprehensive fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship Program. As a leader in cosmetic surgery, he has conducted seminars to train other physicians in treatment techniques for Laser Skin treatments, ELOS Technology, BOTOX Cosmetic, and injectable fillers. He has also served as a clinical investigator for development of technology for the improvement of aging and sun damaged skin as well as cellulite treatment technology. Dr. Martin%u2019s skill and knowledge have afforded him the opportunity to explain plastic surgery procedures and treatments in local newspapers, radio and television appearances. He has served on the Board of Directors of Springhill Medical Center and is active in community services. He has also led several medical mission teams on trips to Central America.
