Dr. Sapna Shah Parker's philosophy of care is to empower families by providing them with the necessary education and foundation to make the best decisions about their children's care.
“I look for teachable moments so that I can provide education about prevention, mechanisms of illness and reasoning behind medical intervention,†she says.
Dr. Parker received her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa. She completed her internship and residency at Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, N.Y.
Dr. Parker was born in upstate New York. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking, films and photography.
