Dr. Altringer joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in June 1995. A specialist in General, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery, he is a Fellow member of the American College of Surgeons. A native of Dickinson, North Dakota, Dr. Altringer received his medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, where he also received the Upjohn Achievement Award for Academic Excellence. He completed his surgical residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Hospitals in Chicago, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Altringer is a surgeon member of the St. Alexius Medical Center Trauma Team. He is a member of the American Medical Association, North Dakota Medical Association, and the Sixth District Medical Society. He is licensed to practice General, and Vascular Surgery in the state of North Dakota.
