Brief Intro

Dr. William Arnold is a board-certified general surgeon and joined Abrazo Medical Group in March 2016. He has been appointed Medical Director of Bariatric Surgery of Abrazo Scottsdale Campus. Dr. Arnold’s expertise includes minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgery, advanced laparoscopy, endoscopy and bariatric surgery. Dr. Arnold was recently named one of Arizona’s Top Docs by Phoenix Magazine. He is a member of the Society of Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, Society of American Gastro-Intestinal Endoscopic Surgeons and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Arnold received his medical degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at TUFTS in Boston where he also completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgical research. He then completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale.
