Dr. Harnish attended The Ohio State University College of Medicine, earning his medical degree in 1984 and completing residency in Ophthalmology there is 1989. Since that time he has practice in Westerville. He is board certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology and taught as a Clinical Associate Professor at The Ohio State University until 1993. He currently serves as a preceptor for The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Dr. Harnish is the Chief of Ophthalmology at St. Ann's Hospital. Dr. Harnish welcomes patients for all issues of ophthalmology and specializes in Intrafocal Vision Correction; including cataract surgery and vision correction. He also performs cosmetic eye surgery, surgical and laser procedures for glaucoma, diabetes, and retinal problems.
