Dr. Warren Skaug has practiced at The Children's Clinic for 25 years. Dr. Skaug grew up in Northern Michigan where he still has a number of Scandinavian relatives. He attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed his residency in pediatrics at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Skaug is past president of the Arkansas Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and continues to be active within that organization.
Dr. Skaug's wife, Phyllis, is also a pediatrician at The Children's Clinic. They have two sons, both grown and out on their own. Eric is a graduate student in computer science at the University of Wisconsin and Brian is a medical student at the University of Texas Southwestern. The Skaugs like to fish on the White River and travel when spare time comes along. One of Dr. Skaug's greatest pleasures has been seeing his patients grow up and return with children of their own.
