Dr. Walter Sassard earned his Bachelor of Science in pharmacy in 1963 and his Doctor of Medicine in 1967 from Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed an internship in 1968 and his Orthopedic Surgery residency in 1974 at Charlotte Memorial Hospital.
