Dr. Kerpe began his Internal Medicine practice with Medical Arts in 1979, specializing in adult health care.
He earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He then did a year of postgraduate work in pathology at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Oregon before entering his Internal Medicine Residency at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Kerpe subsequently became Board Certified in Internal Medicine and moved to Sheboygan, Wisconsin, where he continues to enjoy his practice with Sheboygan Internal Medicine Associates.
During his years in Sheboygan he has been instrumental in developing the St. Nicholas Hospital Diabetes Program. He has also maintained a particular interest in managing patients with kidney failure, resulting in the development of the St. Nicholas Hospital Dialysis Unit in 1981.
Dr. Kerpe has served as chairman of the Department of Medicine, president of The Medical Staff at St. Nicholas Hospital, and director of the St. Nicholas Hospital Dialysis Unit. He remains an active member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
His personal interests include bicycling, scuba diving, fishing, and sailing.
