Brief Intro

Even though I grew up in an urban environment, I always had a love for the natural world. My Greek immigrant family gave me herbal remedies passed down through generations, cooked fresh vegetables from our backyard garden, and taught me the tricks to choosing the freshest fish. I was raised with the fundamentals of a heart healthy lifestyle before I knew I would become a cardiologist. It is only fitting that I am able to combine the science I learned in medical school with my grandmother%u2019s common sense medicine. I greet each day knowing I am blessed with the privilege of being a doctor. While illness eventually touches all of our lives, I believe that most heart disease can be prevented and we have an incredible power to both heal and become stronger as we go through life.
