Brief Intro

Dr. Virginia Hawes moved to the Roseburg area to take advantage of the areaÂ’s lifestyle and got hooked. Before joining Evergreen Family MedicineÂ’s Urgent Care in 2003, she practiced Internal Medicine for a large health system in Sacramento, California. With BachelorÂ’s and MasterÂ’s degrees in Chemical Engineering, medical school at University of Texas, and board certification in Internal Medicine, she comes highly qualified for her work in EvergreenÂ’s Urgent Care. Jogging and gardening are her favorite recreational interests, as well as enjoying the rural life with her husband Paul and their four feline "children". Dr. Hawes says that she most enjoys the people that she is able to meet and care for in the Urgent Care, along with those she encounters during her volunteer community activities.
