Dr. DiMaria was born in Connecticut. Dr. DiMaria graduated from Seton Hall University in New Jersey and Yale University Medical School. In 1974, he moved to Colorado for his three years of pediatric training at the University of Colorado and The Children's Hospital of Denver. He then spent two years as an officer in the Public Health Service at the Tuba City Indian Hospital in Arizona before returning to Colorado for a Chief Residency in Pediatrics. From 1980 until the present, he has practiced in Littleton, maintaining his faculty position of Clinical Professor of Pediatrics by teaching medical students in his office. He is board certified in Pediatrics and a member of the local and state medical societies and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. DiMaria and his wife, Joan, have two children, Michael and Cristina. Michael is a fellow in pediatric cardiology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Cristina is an attorney in Denver.
