With over 50 years of experience, Dr. Vilor Shpitalnik is the Medical Director of NYMDC and provides comprehensive psychiatric care on an outpatient basis, as well as holding appointments at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center and Queens County Neuro-Psychiatric Institute. Dr. Shpitalnik graduated with his medical degree from Kursk Medical School in Russia, and completed residency and fellowship training, as well as a Ph.D. in Medicine from First Medical School in Moscow. He also completed additional training in Psychiatry at Columbia University after coming to the US.
