Brief Intro

Dr. Ribeiro considers himself to be very aggressive when treating cancer for a cure. Should a cure not be possible, he vows to do everything possible to control the disease and make certain his patient is comfortable. He considers family and friends very important to the recovery of a patient in treatment and always encourages a patient to involve loved ones in their treatment process. Dr. Ribeiro is also fluent in Portugese. Dr. Ribeiro sees both Internal Medicine and Oncology patients. After attending Goa Medical College at the University of Bombay at Panaj Goa, India, Dr. Ribeiro completed his advanced medical training in the United States. His Rotating Internship at Mount Sinai Hospital Elmhurst at City Hospital Center, Queens, New York provided broad exposure which led to his Internal Medicine Residency training there. He completed a Hematology Fellowrvicship at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Bronx, New York and a Fellowship in Medical Oncology at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center, Bronx, New York. Dr. Ribeiro is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
