Brief Intro

Dr. Gammill, a native of Fort Smith, AR, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. After graduating from the University of Central Arkansas, Dr. Gammill went on to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he graduated with his Medical Degree in 1979. In St. Louis, he completed an Internship in Psychiatry at Barnes/Washington Hospital and a Residence in Medicine at St. Luke’s Hospital, where he later became a Fellow in Cardiology. Before coming to Arkansas Heart Hospital Clinic in 1999, he held many positions in prominent Missouri hospitals: Medical Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation Services at Charter Hospital, Chief of Cardiology at St. Louis Regional Medical Centers and Cardiologist and Advanced Cardiology Fellow at St. Luke’s Hospital. He has also worked as a cardiologist at North Central Heart Clinic in Wisconsin and at Hot Springs Cardiology Consultants, P.A. in Arkansas. Dr. Gammill has over twenty years of experience as a cardiologist, is an instructor at UAMS and is, himself, ardently committed to continuing medical education.
