Dr. Timothy Powell graduated from the Oregon State University School of Pharmacy in 1973. He attended Oregon Health Sciences University earning his Doctor of Medicine in 1977. He completed his Family Medicine residency in 1980 at San Bernardino California, a program affiliated with the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Powell has been American Academy of Family Practice board certified since 1980. He has been in private practice in Roseburg Oregon since that time. Dr. Powell and his wife Kathy raised their three children in Roseburg. Their son Matthew attended the University of Oregon Law School and currently practices Law in Newport Oregon. Angela attended the University of Iowa Medical School and is in her final year of Family Medicine residency in the San Francisco bay area. Esther graduated from Seattle Pacific and is kept busy raising their first grandchild. Kathy Powell obtained her registered nursing degree and has been Dr. PowellÂ’s office nurse for quite a few years. Together they have been active in church and community support activities. Dr. Powell has served as Chief of Staff at Mercy Medical Center and is active in the Oregon Medical Association.
