Dr. Tim Backiewicz... I attended Miami University in Ohio, graduating in 1987, and then went on to dental school at Ohio State University, graduating in 1991. I grew up in Gahanna, Ohio with my father, Dr. Joseph Backiewicz, who retired after 40 years as a general dentist, and my mother, Maureen Backiewicz, who taught me to be kind and always take care of others. I hold my father in great esteem and admire his values and unyielding work ethic. He supported and inspired my decision to become a great dentist. I have one sister and five brothers, two of which are also dentists. Dr. Dean Backiewicz practices in Sunbury, Ohio and Dr. Barry Backiewicz in Gahanna, Ohio. My wife, Leslie, and our four children reside in Westerville. Leslie oversees and manages our dental practice, promotes Accutech Dental Lab through marketing and sponsorship of Paragon. We also love spending time with our children. Our twelve-year-old, Timmy, loves baseball and football (his favorite team is the Cincinnati Bengals), wrestling, and playing the trumpet. Logan is twelve years old and loves travel, softball, cheerleading, and recently joined the swim team. Julia, our ten-year-old, is a very dedicated and talented dancer. Julia spends most of her time competing in dance, Christmas shows, and her recitals every year. Our five-year-old, Lilly, is in preschool and very active. Lilly loves to play soccer, and she looks up to her brother and sisters. They all four have a lot of fun together! My hobbies include spending time with my wife and four children, traveling, and outdoor activities. We have seen a lot of indoor water parks this year. I also enjoy golf, painting, skiing, table tennis, and cheering on my favorite team, the Boston Red Sox (proposed to my wife at FENWAY PARK!). My wife and I hope to some day visit Greece together. As you can tell, I am very family-oriented, and I extend the same level of caring and understanding to my patients as I do to my loved ones. I treat all of my patients with the integrity and respect they deserve from their dental care provider. I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to my family of great patients!
