Timothy Knierim, M.D., is a graduate from Oral Roberts University with a bachelor's degree in biomedical chemistry and from the University of South Florida with a master's degree in science education/chemistry. He received his doctor of medicine degree from West Virginia University and completed a family medicine residency at Wheeling Hospital. He has completed course work for certification in travel medicine. Since April 2005, Knierim has been a preceptor for the WVU International Health Program. Dr. Knierim, who also is assistant director of Wheeling Hospital’s Family Medicine Residency Program, is certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
