I chose to become a doctor because I always enjoyed helping people and caring for others. I also had a lot of sports-related injuries playing football at North Carolina State University. My philosophy of care is that the patient is always right. I chose Orthopedics because of the gratitude that patients have and how it can really improve their way of life. My areas of special interest include orthopedic sports medicine, orthopedic adult reconstruction and fracture care. Outside of work, I enjoy fishing, working out, golf, football, and spending time with family and friends.
