Dr. Allen grew up on a farm near Noblesville, IN and graduated from Noblesville High School. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, IN, then attending and and graduating from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1972. Following post-graduate training he obtained Board Certification in Family Medicine in 1978 and has been re-certified continually since. Dr. Allen has served as Director of Emergency Services in New Castle, IN and Cheyenne WY. He has also served as Chief of the Medical Staff at McKee Medical Center and as President of the Larimer County Medical Society. He currently serves as President of the Mountain Shadows Medical Association. Dr. Allen is the founder and managing partner of First-Care Physicians. He has been married to his lovely wife, Leslie since 1978. They have four grown children. Dr. Allen is an avid runner and bicyclist.
