Dr. Henry completed his residency in plastic surgery at the University of Missouri, followed by two fellowships: one in hand surgery, at the Hand Center of San Antonio; and the other in reconstructive microsurgery, at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan. Dr. Henry has expertise in all aspects of hand surgery, including conditions both acute, such as fractures and tendon injuries, and chronic, such as arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome. He is also a highly trained microvascular surgeon, with substantial experience in post-oncologic reconstruction of the head/neck and breast, reconstruction of the lower extremity, and reattachment of limbs and digits. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Henry is also very active academically, having contributed 30 scientific articles and book chapters to the plastic surgery literature. He has presented his research at many regional, national, and international meetings, and continues to collaborate on numerous research projects with colleagues from around the world.
