Thomas Caruso, D.O. Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Dr. Caruso grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. He attended LaSalle University where he performed his pre-med studies receiving his Bachelor's degree in Biology. He completed his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has completed two years of Family Medicine residency training at the Hospital of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He performed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the Graduate Hospital/University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He is Board certified in this specialty. He recently completed a Fellowship in Sports Medicine and Interventional Spine at Michigan Sports and Spine Center in Troy, Michigan. Specialized areas of training include: interventional spine and peripheral joint procedures, ultrasound for diagnostic musculoskeletal injuries and ultrasound guided injections, osteopathic manipulative medicine, Botox for spasticity, P-Stim for pain control and EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies. Dr. Caruso has over 15 years of experience dealing with a large variety of situations including rehabilitation from various injuries, sports injuries and workman's compensation cases and auto accidents. His focus is one goal: to maximize function and get his patients back into the game of life. Dr. Caruso and his wife have two children. He enjoys family pastimes, cycling and music.
