Thomas C. Kennedy, M.D. received his undergraduate degree at Stanford University in Palo Alto. CA and his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He completed two years of General Surgery internship followed by four years of Orthopaedic Residency at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis,MN.
Upon completion of his residency he was appointed Assistant Professor in the Sports Medicine section of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Minnesota.
He completed a Fellowship in Ilizarov techniques at Ospedale de Lecco in Lecco, Italy,
Dr Kennedy then chose to return to his hometown of Yakima to practice Orthopaedic surgery and care for the active and sports minded residents of this outdoor paradise.
He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and has a Subspecialty Certificate in Sports Medicine. He is a Fellow in the American Accademy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Kennedy specializes in sports medicine, knee, hip and shoulder arthroscopy. He also performs total and partial knee replacements.
