Dr. Kopitnik enjoys outdoor activities including river rafting, boating, and hiking, and is an excellent marksman with both a pistol and a rifle. Additionally, he is a black belt in judo. Dr. Kopitnik holds patents on many of the specialty surgical instruments used for clipping aneurysms and is a frequent lecturer and guest speaker at medical conferences around the world.
